Art and Soul
I just got back Portland, Oregon. I went to spend some time with my sisters and my 96 yr old mother AND to take a mixed media class at Art and Soul. This is the first year I've only taken one class, I usually take 3 or 4. I also did an encaustic make-it-take it that was so easy and looked great. I'll try to get some up pictures loaded. Art & Soul Retreats are held every year in Hampton VA, Las Vegas, and Portland. If you ever get to go they have outstanding workshops with well known teachers. www.artandsoulretreat.com

Lawnscaping Blog Hop http://lawnscaping.blogspot.com
I spent most of today blog hopping (I'm not sure if one P or two) I'm not sure how I got to it - somehow from one of my stamp feeds. It look interesting so I decide to do the hop. I didn't imagine it would take me most of the day. 44 blogs are a lot to visit. Even spending less than 10 minutes on each takes a long time. I did mark the ones I want to go back to and take longer look. The hop was sponsored by Lawn Fawn http://www.lawnfawn.com/ and Mold Muse http://www.etsy.com/shop/MoldMuse . I tried creating buttons for these URLs but I'm doing something wrong I guess. Only two of the blogs mentioned the molds. I'm really interested in them because they are great and I can use them for PMC. I will be spending a lot more time at Mold Muse. Well I better sign off and get something accomplished before I go to bed. ps I really enjoyed these websites and the hop goes on thru Sun 9/11 and prizes are given to randomly selected people who post comments. Good Night

MIUM Challenge
I finally got a picture to post for a challenge. The challenge leader had to post the tag for it. She complemented me on the card!!! Her name is Lee and she makes beautiful cards. Of course I really don't know how I did it. I tried so many things and then I couldn't find where it was posted. Anyway--here is the picture (I hope). Not very good - I scanned it on the computer. I guess I'd better get my camera and photo box out.

Spellbinders Get The Knowledge Challenge
I am participating in the challenge. So far we are on day 5. I would love to win some of the new dies, the designers have created beautiful projects. I hope spellbinders archives the project. There is no way to remember all the great ideas. Each time I get on I learn at least one new thing about blogging and/or spellbinder dies.

Scrappy Saturday Challenge #60: Party time!!
I have been trying to upload a couple of cards I made for this challenge. Now this is my first blog and the first time I made cards for a challenge. I must not understand a very basic instruction. I can't figure out how to submit my entry. I keep getting passed from from one blog to another and then another. I don't see anywhere on any of the blogs that says "go here to load your entry". I keep going around and around and I'm getting very frustrated. I finally decided to create my own blog and upload pictures of my cards here. I made both of these cards with scraps of paper left over from 4 years of having a rubber stamp and scrapbooking store and over 7 years of doing paper arts (card making, altered art, bookmaking, etc). I hope you like them.
